Do you leave friends requests pending on facebook?

I'm curious if you are the type of person that doesn't accept or deny a freind request and how common is it for people to do this? reason why I asked is because I added a lot of people recently and I had some that accepted me and some that denied me in the beginning but after awhile I was adding more people and the majority haven't accepted or denied me. I know they sign on because they change their main profile pic, and add people to their friends list since its listed on my news feed. I guess im just paranoid thinking that some of the people are not seeing my friend request notification on their facebook? Is that even possible or they probably do see it? I just think there is just too many lately that ive sent out that have gone unanswered. I check everyday and still see pending.

I do not know them and I have deleted them before.

I get a lot of requests because of the one game I play. I often leave them pending until I build up 10 or 15, then I go through and deny or approve. I think I'm strange though - to leave them sitting there as long as I do.
