facebook won't stop emailing me?

Hi I am suddenly (haven't changed settings) receiving literally 100's of email notifications from Facebook. This just began this past weekend. If I uncheck notify me in facebook - I won't receive any notifications. I want to be notified of new Facebook messages - just not in my email account,. Why does Facebook play such stupid games and why do they make it so difficult to clean up after [them]?

If you figure out how to stop your notifications from going to your email... Let me know please it bugs the hell outta me.

Go to any email and click on Unsubscribe.

You need to change the notification option not to send the mail in my real email account. You can change the notification by going on the
Home>Account Setting>Notifications tabs
After that you will see the All Notification area where you can edit which apps can send me a notification email and which you need to block. Click on edit link to change your notification setting.
