from the facebook application that is downloaded on your blackberry, is there a way to transfer all those phone numbers etc. onto my blackberry?

You should be able to open your Facebook app then hit the menu button (to the left of center) and go to Options. At the top of the screen you will see three options, the third of which says Blackberry Contacts application. Check the box along with any other ones you want. When done hit the escape button (button to right of center) and click save. After several minutes your blackberry should update with your contact information. But this could update right away or take some time. If after a couple of hours it still hasn't updated I would suggest a battery pull, which tends to fix majority of BB issues.

I have the BB Curve 8530 which also allows you to hover over a contacts FB pic and when you click the menu button you can choose to "connect to Blackberry contact" if it is someone you have in your BB contacts.
