Stop facebook showing when and what applications I add?
I've looked in privacy options but theres nothing about showing applications I add. Every time I add an application it tells all my friends. Anyway to stop this?

I think the only thing you can do is delete it from the 'mini feed' on your profile page, so if people go on your profile they won't be able to see if you have recently added something.

Or go into the privacy options and change your restricted access, this used to be easy to do, but I think they have changed it now...but good luck!

After you've decided to add the application - it should bring you to a screen that shows a bunch of boxes with check marks in them - read what each one is checked off for before adding your application. Some are checked off to send you emails, some are checked off to post mini-feeds. If you uncheck these boxes - it will not show to everyone what application you've installed. Also, if you uncheck the box that reads - but a box in my profile - it WILL NOT place this application on your profile.

If your application is already installed - go to the left hand side of any screen and beside "Applications" click on "edit". Then find the application you want to fix the privacy on and click on "edit settings" beside it. It will then give you some options there to keep things private.

Hope this helped!! :-)

You can go to your own profile page where there is a list of things you have done. Click the cross where you can hide that specific story but do it straight away after adding an application if you don't want anyone to see it because it can come up on everyone's home page. I think there is another way but this is the way I do it sometimes. Hope this does help Smile

When you actually add the application it has options with tickboxes one of these relates to allowing information about it to be putin our news feed and I thinkthere may also be on about accessing our friends list.......disable those ones.....hope that helps
