facebook application for origina iphone?

i have the original iphone and its unlocked. I wanted to get that facebook application so it would be on my main screen next to the texting, mail,photos etc does ne1 know how i can get it?

You will need to upgrade the iPhone software to 2.0 or higher. This is what allows other applications to be downloaded. Here's a step by step.

Launch iTunes
Connect iPhone
Select your iPhone under the 'Devices' section
Click 'Check for Updates'
Follow the prompts to update the software

To get the Facebook app:
Select the 'iTunes Store' under the 'Store' section
Search for Facebook in the search bar
Find the Facebook app on the results page
Click 'Get App'
