Does this seem weird or suspicious?

A few months ago, I started playing this game on Facebook. You can "buy" people drinks and "wink" at them. My friend "Kayla's" dad started "buying" me drinks on there, which I didn't find too odd because he's silly like that. But as time went by, he started "buying" me more drinks on there and a mutual friend of mine and Kayla's would joke to each other that he was trying to get me "drunk". Then, he started "winking" at me on there. Of course, being a nice person, I returned the "winks" and the "drinks". We always went back and forth for months and at one point, he had sent me 23 notifications.

A couple weekends ago, I was at their house and "Kayla's" dad was checking his game with his wife sitting right there. She saw that I had sent him some notifications and he said that I send them to HIM, so he sends them back and I think he said I'm trying to turn him into an alcoholic (I didn't object because I pretended like I wasn't listening). She didn't really seem bothered by it, most likely since it's just a game.

He hasn't sent many since then, but whenever he does, it's when his wife is asleep (I know this because she always goes to sleep around 5:00am or so and he'll be online) Do you think this seems suspicious? I'm 19, so he's not a creep or anything and no, I don't plan on pursuing him. He's married and my friend's father and he loves his wife, so we both know better.

Maybe he's just being silly but is just assuring his wife and doesn't want her to get jealous?
I don't know but don't think about it too much, it's just unneeded stress and worry
