I'm following my friend on Twitter but she's not following me. And I wanted to ask her a question so I tweeted "@(her name) then the question". But I don't know if she can read it or not.
Btw, my tweets are protected.
So can she still read them?

Yes she can. That's how celebrities read things. You just can't direct message them.

Also, she can only see your tweets if they are not protected.
