Adding tags to your Facebook photos is a great way to share your images with family and friends. Unless you post to an audience of "Only Me," when you tag an individual in one of your photos, a copy of that photo appears on the tagged individual's news feed, giving them and their Facebook friends an opportunity to view and comment on the photo.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need
Facebook account
1
Log in to your Facebook account. Click "Profile" in the top right corner to go to your profile page. Select "Photos" on the left side of the page, under your profile picture.

2
Click "See All" in the top right corner of the photo page. Click on one of the albums to open it.

3
Click on the photo you want to tag to open it in a large viewing window. Click the "Tag Photo" button located just under the photo.

4
Click on the person's image you want to tag. A small box opens up. Begin to type your friend's name. Select the person from the list that forms under the text entry box as you type, or type the complete name of anyone who isn't on your friend list or isn't a Facebook user.

5
Click "Done Tagging" located just under the photo to save the tag.

6
View the photo to check the tags you made. Names appear when you point your cursor to people on the photos.
