How do I block Facebook's notifications?

I'm tired of getting Farmville invites.

on the next invite, look carefully for a link lightly colored that says block. click it and it should give an option to block the person or the game.

click on the "account" button on teh upper right hand side, scroll down to account settings.then click on teh notification tab...it will give you MANY options on which notifications you want to recieve. :-D
