What is Zoosk on Facebook application?

I often see people asking about Zoosk under Facebook section.
I guess it's a sort of online dating application on FB?
How does it work? do we have to pay money or is it totally free?
How do u meet other singles there?

It's an online dating site that's worthless. I signed up but unless you want to pay them, you can't actually do anything meaningful. Try okcupid.com instead if you want a dating site.
Zoosk has a site as well as apps for Facebook and Android. OKCupid has a site and smartphone apps, but no Facebook app.
