If you dont study health and social care at collage can you still do nurse at uni?
Im currently doing A Levels in world development ,sociology and EPQ and retaking maths but i was wondering even thought i don't do health and social care is nursing still a option . Also is there any good career that i could do with my subjects ..thank you.

You would need the hard science courses to qualify for a nursing major. Then you have to do the entire curriculum for nursing, then you have to take your licensing exam. Rather more complicated.

What you have taken so far would not actually provide you with skills that you can market. It is remotely possible you could learn on the job at a doctor's office, say, but your pay would be pretty poor.

Depends on the uni. Give the course tutor a call. I think you'll be alright though as long as you've got the ucas points and your maths english n science gcses at a c grade x

I don't think there are generally specific subject requirements to do a nursing degree, but I'd recommend you go to http://www.ucas.co.uk and look at the requirements for a few universities you might be interested in.
