is there a choice between social welfare and a good housing economy?
The housing market keep going up (ex. Duplexes valued at 700,000$ in Qc), rent is through the roof, while the job market is stable but not so great. If I'm a home owner, I'm having fun right now, but at what expense.

yes, welfare gives people more money to pay rent or buy houses.
