With Twitter; if some random starts following you, what do you do?

Except or just block them? I can't send them a message asking who they are...but i don't think they know me anyway. So do you just block them or except them as followers? Can't they see your profile and what you write?

I look at their profile page and try to decide if they are:

(a) Someone I don't find interesting - in which case I ignore them
(b) Someone who says interesting things - in which case I follow them
or
© A spammer - in which case I send a direct message to @spam and then block them.

Unless you mark your profile as private - *everybody* can see what you write.
