How can I get rid of my Social Anxiety Disorder and/or depression without medication?
I have had Social Anxiety Disorder and severe depression since I was in elementary or middle school. How can I get rid of them once and for all without medication?

I think you need help and support from others.

I would suggest you join the free mental health forum run by secrethamster.co.uk it a new forum site but is already attracting Worldwide interest. There you can get all sorts of support and live chat with others. It has a daily get together at 9pm [GMT] in its chat-room where you can discuss anything. The forum topics can only be seen by registered members so it offers privacy not seen on similar site.

Membership is TOTALLY FREE and is for Mental Health sufferers, supporters, those who want to find out more and also for Professionals who can give free advise.

I joined and has done a me lot of good.

I suggest you seek the assistance of a therapist. You may also try self-help coping methods like joining support groups, getting enough sleep, proper nutrition, and regular exercise. However, judging from what you said, your anxiety or depression has been recurrent for so long. This may actually need medication, although, it's best that you talk to a psychiatrist so that you will be assessed properly. There are also articles at http://www.zoloftlawsuitcenter.net that have more information about depression and treatment. They could be of great help to you.

I used to suffer from social anxiety, specifically the intense dread of being judged and embarrassed in public. Just like you, for me, it started when I was in school. And soon enough, it reached a point where I had to do something about it and not ruin my life.

So I started with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) along with regular counseling, both of which helped. Also, when you feel anxious, try to change the "mental image" from a negative to a positive one. Once you understand your anxiety triggers, it's easier to deal with them effectively.

Therapy might help.

Beyond seeing a psychiatrist, this site (address at my source) is useful in overcoming depression without using drugs/antidepressants.
Hope it helps.

You can use 4 natural and effective methods below to overcome depression:

A. Meditation is one of the most powerful methods to enhance the mood and eliminate depression. The best thing is that its quite easy to learn. All you need is 15 minutes of meditation a day to calm and soothe your mind. This is all thats required to make positive transformations in your life.

B. Herbal Remedies: You will find a wide range of herbal therapies in the market. To get rid of depression, ginkgo biloba and St. Johns wort are super effective for altering your mood. You can make a Google search and see what comes up. One of the reliable sources on the internet is Web MD.

C. Exercise: Many researches and studies on depression have shown that physical and psychological benefits that we get from any form of exercise can help us to get rid of depression and most importantly, it enhances our mood immediately. All that you need is about 30-40 minutes of exercise about 4 days a week to get astonishing results.

D. Reprogramming your mind is also a powerful technique to get rid of negative feelings and depression. You can learn how to reprogram your conscious and subconscious mind by reading some books. You can find the link below to see my favorite one.
