Okai so heres the deal, I have Windows 7, btw. I have a great computer so theres no problem there.

But I am a real pc gamer, I play GTA, Crysis, etc. ALL, the time. But I got sick and tired of always minimizing the screen to check my facebook, my work, and my msn.

So heres the deal, I bought a second monitor, everything works FINE.

So I play GTA:IV, having a blast, but then a notification appears on my facebook (The second monitor) I cant seem to get to that screen.. without minimizing my game >,> ..

So the second monitor is praticly USELESS now :/

So my question is, how can I go on facebook, msn work, while im playing my game, without minimizing the game? Like can i have a second mouse for my second screen? without it minimizing my current game?

Hope you guys understand, thanks!

I don't really know or it's physically possible to do this in Windows. Because when playing a game you are in Full-screen mode. So that if you for example would move your mouse to the outer left it won't go 'outside' of the game.
One thing you can try is to play the game in Windowed mode. This way you could go out of the game with the Alt + Tab keys or the Windows key. Without minimizing it, and then switch to the program you would like to use on the other screen.
Do mind that some games don't react well on playing in Windowed mode. Also often Crossfire or SLI isn't supported than.

I know what you are talking about. I used to play Starcraft religiously and wanted the same satisfaction. But the way the program is used I believe it's not possible to do that. You can't have a second mouse for the screen because it's not a separate pc.

What I have seen before is a switch between 2 different pcs to one monitor. Not that it is going to help you in this situation but I suppose to answer your question the game uses a specific control over the screen that isn't going to allow you to move your mouse into the 2nd screen. So basically the only thing your screen is going to be good for is being notified when you have a new notification of things.

the closest i can come is that the one game i play stays mostly on screen one... i moved a few of the icons over to screen two... emails and files... haven't tried facebook... and that works pretty well for me... the game i use is called civilization and i use and old version so i may just be lucking out
