Or more appropriately the application where you get to adopt kids? And what other fun applications besides farmville is there on facebook? Is there a zooville application as well or some cooking application? Thanks!

I think the application you're talking about is called "Make A Baby".
The cooking app might be "Restaurant City". Playfish has some good games.. like "Pet Society".
I like to play Mafia Wars, it's a static game but I think it's fun nevertheless.
