Remove Old twitter pics from Google? [READ]?
I just searched my name and city on google and the first image that came up was of me. Its from my old twitter which i previously removed the picture from yet this is still viewable in Google images? I still have access to the account. I removed my city name and the picture last month and the picture is still in the search.
This wouldn't usually bug me 'cause anyone i know who knows my city and name knows me anyway but i am known on a online community by my full name and they know what city i live in. I didn't intentionally give my details away, it just kinda happened. I'm known by my last name on there cause of my username then people generally call me by my first name. Then someone asked me where in Uk i was, and i said. Someone actually was looking for me on facebook once as a joke, luckly my page is all private, but this is out of my control.

I feel very woried that many people i don't know can simply search my name and city and see my picture. Then also be able to access my private twitter which i am connected to family with.

How do i get this picture hidden?

Extra details: The google page features the image as my old twitter details. It contains my previous "Name" (not username/@) which was my full name and also my old information from the "tell us about yourself" bit.
Would closing the account down help? I don't see why it hasn't updated for my picture to not be in the search, i changed everything (name, username, picture, about me) last month and i'm still in the search.

(THIS IS ALSO THE SAME FOR MY OLD FORMSPRING, I CHANGED MY STUFF AND MY PICTURE IS STILL ON GOOGLE IMAGES PAGE)

Google stores a large cache of pages and images. Although you have deleted them from the relevant accounts you own, Google still holds them for reference. You can't delete them, although they will eventually go of their own accord, as nothing is held by Google forever. You may be able to send them a request ( http://www.google.com/contact/ ), although they have millions of users and billions of pages on their server, so it's unlikely they'd be able to do anything for you quickly, if at all. Once information is on the internet, there's no simple way to remove it, so unfortunately, you may be stuck with it for quite some time. Closing accounts, updating information, or any other system would not change the fact that the page has already been imaged by Google, and the data stored as backup. Any information you add or change will be stored alongside it, but the old data will still be present and accessible via Google.

I hope this helps.

Better learn the rule: what gets posted on the Internet, it stays there forever.

Next time, be more careful what you post publicly.
