can you get apps on an Lg chocolate touch?

I use facebook a lot and would like to have an app for it instead of using internet. is that possible? if so, how do i get one?

It has an app that comes with it for Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace. It's a link to the sites that gives you direct access tot he status parts of the sites, not the sites themselves. You can send quick updates and see status changes, but can't get into the site directly unless you go through the internet. It also uses text messages to apply the updates. If that's enough for you, the phone should be fine!
