What are some great social networking sites for Scene Kids?
I know about facebook, myspace, twitter and SceneKids.com. I need help on getting tons of friends on certain sites. I am striving to become a non-hating SCENE QUEEN. I know some of you guys might not like the idea of that but if there isn't different people in the world, it would be boring,

Well, if you have a webcam, you need to get a Stickam. I see you know about Facebook and Twitter, those are also important. You will also need a YouTube and Tumblr. Those are all for sure ones that you need.

Other ones you might consider: Formspring, DeviantArt, DailyBooth, Flickr, Photobucket, VampireFreaks, LiveJournal, FriendProject, MyYearbook, Lookbook, Buzznet, PureVolume, Last.fm, etc.
There are some networking sites that are foreign or more commonly used by non-Americans, if you want to try those: Bebo, Skyrock, Fotolog, Bilddagboken, Netlog, etc.

The old scene you are referring to is out actually, I would recommend looking at the newer alternative style: Look at newer pictures of Emmy Bow, Vanna Jay, Elli Altman, people like that showcase the newer alternative style, most "scene queens" of old have moved on to be either this newer alternative which is like the new kind of scene, or they have become hipster or "normal" or whatever.

I actually WOULD NOT recommend anything like SceneQueens.com or SceneKids.com, that is really poser to do so don't do that and don't go around calling yourself scene, ALWAYS deny it.

There are plenty of websites, but for your checklist, if you want to become a "scene queen", you must definitely have:
-tons of GOOD non-wannabe pictures of yourself in the scene or alternative style
-proof pictures/videos
-a good scene name, or if the new alternative style, your first and middle name
-Facebook (on private, to add real-life people)
-Twitter (update not all-the-time but weekly or daily)
-Stickam (so people can video chat with you in real time, believe me, a ton of "scene" and alternative kids use it)
-YouTube (have you ever seen Leda Monster Bunny's channel? http://youtube.com/user/HaiLedaBear She has hundreds of thousands of viewers: every week or every few days, put a new video of yourself doing a hair/makeup/etc. tutorial, rant, etc. This is also the place to have proof videos)
-Tumblr (have whatever you want on it, occasionally put a personal picture or update on there, plenty of good examples out there for that, basically of your tastes but has a blurb about you and a picture)

Look at examples of what people do on theirs here on this commonly faked list (for examples of what to do for pictures, videos, YouTubes, Tumblrs, all of that stuff):

Good luck, and if you want to discuss it more, message me. Smile
