How do I disable game request notifications on facebook from going to my phone?

In the past 2 days my facebook app on my Android phone has been sending me my game requests as notifications to my phone. It is very annoying and I would like a way to just disable the notifications for the game requests only. Yes I am a Farmville player so blocking the app isn't going to help me.

The whole point of me using a Facebook app is to keep up with when friends comment on my stuff or post on wall. It is not useful when it goes off every few minutes because someone sent another game request. Please help. Thanks!

Unfortunately disabling game requests in general only seems to work for a couple of days, so you're forced to individually disable game notifications from each person you play against. This means, for each person go to their profile, click the Subscribe(d) button and uncheck the Games option.
