Make Facebook pokes stop showing up as notifications!?

It's getting incredibly annoying. I've tried going and marking them as spam but that doesn't seem to do anything because they keep on coming back. And I don't have any app for pokes either. I want to keep poking but I don't want the notifications for them. This has occurred just within the latest Facebook update.
