How can I connect my personal Twitter page with my new nonprofit twitter page?
I want to merge the two. How do I logistically do it, or is it possible to merge two accounts? Should I delete my personal page and just do the nonprofit twitter? I do want my name associated with my nonprofit/foundation, and going forward, it is going to be the better part of my life.

Twitter is the least of your problems.
Unless you have filed Articles of Incorporation in your home state, obtained 501.c.3 tax exempt status from the IRS through form 1023, obtained an EIN from the IRS and a solicitation license from your state's Department of State, formed a board of directors, appointed officers, established a place of business, adopted by laws, held board meetings, kept minutes of those meetings, and filed the appropriate reporting forms with the state and the IRS, you do not have a nonprofit organaization. You have a hobby. And the money you raise is taxable. And by the way, every time you ask a person for money, you can get a $1,000 fine AND a year in jail. Ads |
