Economic and social effects of resource depletion?
Minerals are nonrenewable resources. Many are being exploited at rates that will deplete them within a generation or two. Discuss the economic and social effects of resource depletion and how a society can extend the lifetime of its limited resources.

I think the economic and social effect would be a loss of jobs perhaps because it takes somebody having a job to produce and distribute the resource. Without this the market such as stock would drop. Also many other things including having to figure out an alternative resource, to replace the one that was used up completely. Such as coal, oil, natural gas. .
