How to stop my parents reading my tweets?

I have over 10,000 followers on twitter, so when my parents googled my name, my twitter profile came up very high on the results. They managed to read tweets that I didn't want them to see.

Is there a way to stop them seeing my tweets without making my twitter private? thanks.

I'm not sure there is, unless they are using an account and you are able to block them? Sorry!
