How do I messeage people on Twitter.?

I am totally new to twitter and I have just signed up but I don't know how to message ppl can someone help me?

You can comment them by putting their username, for instance if I wanted to write to Miley Cyrus I would type "@mileycyrus" and then write what I want to say.

If you want to Direct Message someone, you have to be following each other. You can't send a direct message unless the other person is also following your updates.

if its a message for everyone to see then just type your message in the box at the top then press send.
If you want to send a DM( direct message) you have to go that persons profile and send a DM to them. same principal but only that person will receive it.
