Question about Twitter?

I'm new to Twitter and was wondering how to speak to celebrities? I know that you go like @celeb's name, but will they be able to see it if they are not following you? And how can you get celebs to follow you? Thank youuuuu

I'm not on twitter but I think that you need to be on a celebrities friends list to do it.

You can @ anyone but bear in mind that if they have thousands or millions of followers, they are seeing all of those. You can only direct message someone if they are on your friends list... but again, you can @ anyone.
