How to get facebook on my Ipod Touch?

Ok, a few friends of mine and myself, all have iPod touches, not the phone, iPod! At school our internet will not allow you to get on certain sites, including facebook. All of my friends downloaded the facebook application in the App Store on there iPods. I tried to do the same thing and it said, "This application is not compatible with this iPod." How can my friends download facebook, but I can't? What am I doing wrong? Thank you So Much!

that's very strange. make sure your firmware is fully up-to-date. try restarting the ipod (hold sleep button till a slider bar comes up asking you to shut down). if it comes to it give apple a call.

You might wanna check for software update. You ned to hit check for updates on summary page after you sync Touch with iTunes.

Once its updated it will work fine.

Facebook is compatible with both iPhone n iPod Touch with 2,2 update.
