What does this mean?
When I go on Facebook (and sometimes in other applications)
a box comes up saying "Internet Explorer Script Error" and asks if i want to keep running the scripts. It doesn't seem to make any difference if I say yes, no or just close the box. (I usually just end up clicking the cross until it eventually goes away) What on earth does this mean? And what is a script anyway? Does it have anything to do with why I can't send messages and other things on my facebook account? (my kids can access their Bebo and Myspace properly) Thank you Ads |

It really isn't anything to worry about. The script will most likely be just an advert which is trying to run however there is a problem from preventing it running. No real loss. I find them quite often in flash presentations.
There isn't much more you can do unfortunately. Ads |

Scripts are things that make certain features function properly. There are different types of scripts. Some I know of are JavaScript, CGI and more. JavaScript is the most responsible for most features of certain sites. I know that CGI handles forms and all that The box says that the script encountered an error and it may affect how things may run. That's what I think is most probably causing the problems/ Maybe you can try refresh the page or try another browser
