She did this on Twitter.

Proverbs 11:30 "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life,"

Fruit in this sense means "reward," so the reward of the good-person is a tree of life? So I'm gonna get a tree of life, whatever that as my reward. What'll this tree give me, life? Maybe it has some good-tasting fruit that might be of some use to me.

What do you think it means?

Jesus said that you can tell the tree by its fruits.

The fruit of the righteous is to win souls to life

The whole verse reads - "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise"

It just means that what a righteous person does will allow other people to live a long time.

Think back to the story of the garden of Eden. There was the "tree of knowledge of good and evil", and there was also a "tree of life".

The reward for righteousness is (long) life. Spoken in a poetic form, using agricultural symbolism.

Torah, the Hebrew Scriptures are the Tree of Life. The righteous follow the commandments and wisdom found there and are rewarded, a good life now and a share in the world to come.
