Does social networking take the mystery out of life?
I remember the days before facebook, myspace, and twitter. The days when friends went their own separate ways. The days when you could actually miss somebody and wonder what ever happened to them. The days when you could reflect on your past rather than reading your old friend has "a new tattoo". Now with social networking, you will always have access to everybody you've ever know at any time. I feel like social networking is the downfall of human relationships and takes away all the mystery of the people from your past

Do you feel this way and please state your age?

18, it's caused me some problems in the past, but I like these sites, I like being able to look at pictures of my family who live in opposite side of the world, so you can have some sort of connection, and it's also a hell of a lot cheaper to talk to people.
But it does have downfalls, like you can't have any private moments, everything you post will be seen by many different people, and sometimes this can have negative effects in the real world, like bitching about workmates and it leading to being fired or something..

I disagree, Im fifteen years old and i personally think social networking sites are great! I use facebook on a daily basis and i am constantly updating my status. In my opinion its a positive thing, because you can use it to contact old friends. But also if you were to just meet someone and add the person, youd be able to find out more about them aswell. So in a sense, i do also feel it does take the mystery out of life but in a good way.
