Why are the government and big business taking OWS so much more seriously than the tea party?
10s if not 100s of 100% peaceful protesters have been beaten, pepper sprayed or tear gassed by police for the simple act of not giving up their freedom of assembly.
twitter has, numerous times, censored the OWS tag in the U.S. is this real life, or an orwell book? Ads |

Because unlike the tea baggers they actually anger the powers that be instead of complementing them

If someone sat in front of your house and pooped on the sidewalk, you'd probably take notice too.

They were evicted for surpassing their deadlines at the parks they were at.
Show me a link that the cops beat and sprayed peaceful protesters. I give kudos to twitter. |

its both its real life but its also right out of orwell, we cannot exercise free speech without getting a permit to protest. I cannot imagine folks in 1776 trying to get a permit to promote their cause

false premise: ows is peaceful. False premise: they are being taken seriously. Real Answer: because the ows is filthy, destructive and felonious whereas the Tea Party cleans up after its self and actually IS peaceful.
