I dont play mafia wars on facebook, should i accept a gift sent to me?

Ive never played the game, but someone just sent me a gift. I dont care about accepting it, as long as it doesnt have me starting to play the game like automatically. If i accept the gift it will help the sender right?

It doesn't help the sender by accepting it; If you accept it it will only help you out in the game. You probably think you're doing it to help, but its not, whether or not you accept it will not affect their game.

So you don't have to worry about a notification being sent out to this specific person saying you refused to accept their gift if you don't accept it; mafia wars isn't the funnest game.

I suggest trying out Farmville or Cafe World though, because their awfully fun.

And you may want to tell this certain subject that you don't actually play mafia wars so they will know in the future they don't need to send you gifts; they were probably just trying to do you a favor.
