How do i market my function room? Ideas for sporting events in bar?

I'm working for a large leisure complex and need help! The building work hasn't quite finished and have no leaflets, brochures etc. I need to promote my function room for evening and social occasions using just email and telephone. How can i get most business?

Also for my sports bar - when there is a sporting event on tv eg grand prix, rugby - how can i do a promotion to tie in with said event?

give people a special offer to get on your email list. Then offer them something to forward your email or sgin their firends up (they also get something). Try to capture all the people that attend events there... have cards out for them to fill out.

Email on a regular but not obnoxious frequency... I presonally bump myself from email lists if they email more than once every couple weeks.

Also... respect peoples request to get off your list if they ask.

i would consider a promotion for a grand opening with a radio station!

offer a lost leader with your sports bar !!!
Advertise free food one football mondays!!!
say during the commericals we will have a dj!
HAve in house squares on each game chck state if allowed
make a promotion with radio station they should help you brainstorm!

you must be having the blue print of the complex. just use that to make your presentations. you can use all the medias to your service. ensure you get your job done
