Why do you think capitalism is better than socialism?
Capitalism allows the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer. The middle class can easily be destroyed, and the corporations can easily buy votes within the government. Wouldn't it be better if we had a social capitalist society where there was still free market and the corporate competition, but the government took better care of it's citizens (regulated the markets, provided health care, in general made the playing field level). Thoughts?

So you want us to pay for you while we work and you get a free ride?

Considering you don't know how to think for yourself, why don't you just sit on your butt, and let others do all the work for you. Take all their money, via raising their taxes, and then whine that you don't have enough, of their money.

With socialism, there is only the powerful and the corrupt (who hoard the wealth) and the poor. No in between. Very little shot for anyone to improve themselves with the government oppression in the way
With capitalism, everyone has a shot |

With capitalism, at least you still have a chance to make money. Socialism is for pussies.

I don't think it's better. I think it creates superficiality, illogical compensation structure (vs. merit based/logical), and violence (domestic and abroad).
FYI--we all (probably) work. Idk why these conmen think we're unemployed just because we read and have opinions. I'm a teacher who made $11k last year. |

What happens when you run out of other peoples money? How do you maintain your socialistic programs? See Greece and Europe as an example.

Capitalism allows everyone to get richer, because they are rewarded for their work.
Socialism allows everyone to get poorer, because the people who produce work, jobs, goods, services, leave. Why should they stay? If they stay, they get taxed, and if they try to leave too late, they get nationalized. The Middle Class prospers in a capitalist nation while in a socialist nation there is no classes. Everyone gets what they need, and those who would be on welfare here go on workfare, there. No one gets a free ride, and no one gets rewarded for producing more. No More Socialism. They have four years to make socialism a reality in the USA, and after that, it's dying, and soon dead to the world. Looking forward to that. It's failed everywhere else. I strongly suggest La research the ANTI-Socialist movement growing in Europe. More than a few are abandoning their socialist efforts because it is costing them WAY too much. |
