How do I get people to advertise on my site?
It's a spanking new youth oriented entrepreneur website....cum social network and I'd like to maintain the site tru ad revenue. Is there any way to do so? Should I just apporach the target companies and inform them of my site or is that like so unprofesional? and pathetic?

Please let me know!

Hello..
To get more people advertise there must be three reasons.
your site must
1. be popular in your region.
2. have good page rank.
3. good search engine rank.
People will come for advertising if any one of these is done.
In need of more information contact me.
Good luck..

Get tons of traffic, and advertisers will be all over you. or put Google adsence ads and get paid per click.
Rebuild your website using Site Build it, gain free targeted traffic, by creating Keyword Focused Content Pages. When I did this my traffic went through the roof, if you name your subject links with the phrases people are typing into Google, then your going to get a lot of traffic, but like any good trade, you need the tools, I suggest you check out the link below. Good luck.

Make sure you include an Advertise page on your site and include the relevant stats of your site so potential advertisers know what they are getting.

All you need to do is to join social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and many more. Of course there's nothing wrong on creating a proposal on them but only private messaging. Also joining online community like forums may help you and gain a reputation that have relevance on what you are doing.
