What are some ideas I can use in a scrapbook that I'm making for my boyfriend?
I love making personal things for my boyfriend! And for our two year anniversary, I've decided that I want to make a scrapbook to give to him! Along with a few other things for him as well. What are some fun and creative ideas to make the scrapbook, itself, look appealing and presentable? Also, if you have any ideas to help make it even more personal, please share! Thanks!

Be sure to keep it "guy" friendly, so no frilly stuff. I would keep the color scheme in line with that too, using blues, greens, and neutrals. If you use any patterned papers, try plaids, chevrons, houndstooth, and/or anything with a bold, graphic print. Be sure to include any saved memorabilia such as movie and concert ticket stubs, etc. in addition to photos. To personalize it, you can do that through the journaling by relating the things that make him special to you and/or how he made a certain day, event or occassion more special by something he said or did. Have fun and happy anniversary!

Gayle has some good suggestions :-)

In addition,
Add some of his favorite recipes. Maybe even add some aromatic strips that can be scratched/rubbed !
Create something from his favorite song titles/lyrics. Add a music CD or ticket to a concert.
Include some quotations, quips, limericks, private jokes, ....
If you have emails, text messages, print them out & add them too.
If you enjoy books, films, poems, add a reference &/or line from them to go with each photo.
If you have some of his fav but discarded t-shirts, etc. you could cut out logos/patterns & glue them too.
His fav sports persons, cards, collectibles, etc.
You can make a Memory Box too, if you have stuff to keep inside besides flat photos/paper.
Draw doodles, cut & glue pictures of stuff that relates to him/you both/yoiur relationship but don't have photos of.
Ask some of your common friends.his friends to write/share/add something.
Draw a Map of your fav locales is a way to illustrate your relationship & how it originated, developed & evolved.
Add some innovative Love Coupons for stuff you will do for/with him in future.

Some creative, relatively uncommon ways to display the photos, etc. :
-- convert into puzzles using the photos as clues. You could make crossword puzzles, word search, jumble words, acrostics, anagrams, etc, etc.
-- try a make-over section. Change the look &/or accessorize. eg. add a moustache, a beard, a balding head, change hair color / hair style, add a cowboy hat, .... Be as weird & wacky as you wish ;-))
-- make it all look like a twitter account or any social networking site that you like. You could even try the Y!A format !
-- convert it into a story. It could be fantasy, or realistic.....
-- ambigrams & word jumbles - of words that have a shared meaning or memory.
-- a video strip of yourself where you can speak out directly, about your feelings, .....
-- make a "map" of the sites you visit, things you do, ....
-- create equations of emotions/feelings/relationship eg, love = 2(heartbeat) + commitment
