Is there a way to unsubscribe from farmville and all other game updates on Facebook?

without eliminating updates from your friend that he/she may have written?

I have several friends that are into these stupid games on facebook and I get tons of updates on these games they play. I want to get rid of them. Help me....

Yes you need to go to 'account' 'application settings' and you can block the applications you do not want to recieve notifications from.

I have the same problem on facebook, try looking up the help guide there should be on for facebook wish I know more

try clicking requests, look for any farmville or farmtown gift request, at the bottom most part of that request there are choices like block this application, etc. click that one.

There is a hide option at the right side of the update for the game click on that then under the update there is a option to hide the person or updates from that game. I have had to do that as it drove me nuts.
