Does that sound like a good graduation Speech? Any Suggestions? Errors and Grammar Mistakes?
Good Evening Mrs. Sue, Coordinators, Teachers, Students & Our Honored guests.
Two weeks ago, when someone asked me how I feel about graduation, I was totally clueless but as I was preparing this speech I truly started to know what it really means to be graduating and also to be a part of Al Salam Private School Family.
Our high school years seem to have passed very fast. It’s very difficult to believe that in a few months everyone will be going their own way, new places where they will face new challenges and horizons. But one thing for sure is that every one of us will carry all the sweet memories we had in our Al Salam Family for many years to come. Some of us have been here since Kindergarten, some joined later but one thing we all knew and will know is that Al Salam Private School was really a place where everyone is special.
We are as diverse as the world, here. We came from many different communities, continents and races but we all stand here together now in Unison. Faces held high, proud of what we have accomplished and what we will in the Upcoming Years.
Salam School has taught us lots of thing, not only Textbook material but also how to act and how to express ourselves for who we are.
The Graduation I have been dreaming of my whole life included everyone happy and blissful throwing their hats all over the place but as I stand in front of you right now I am surrounded by a mixture of emotions. Fear of what’s coming… is missing the memorable past and gazing at the future where the sky is our only limit.
We will spread around the globe, some will go back to their hometowns while others will study abroad and some will stay where they are. In just a few years that will pass just as fast as high school we shall be doctors, engineers, and lawyers. In Different Sites of the world but one thing will bond us together, forever. We will all be part of the Salam family and as famous American Tennis player said, “The only person that you can count on is you and your family”.
I would like to thank all our parents who have supported us all along the journey as school boys and girls and I promise all of you fellow Salam Students that we will always be in Touch. After all, Facebook and Twitter will always Be there.
