How do you make a facebook application game?

I have worked on a couple flash games before and I was wondering what sorta format or even software would I use to create one of those games on Facebook that people have been playing. Mafia wars is great but I would like to put my own twist on things or even make a non static game for Facebook. Please provide me with links or detailed advice.

I'm not sure. You need to learn Hypertext Microlanguage (HTML) first to try and develop a game. Then, go into the app "Facebook Application Builder" with a partially defaced logo of Facebook as the icon. You could register it there. I'm really not sure, but try searching "Mafia Wars style game builder" on Facebook or "Make your own Facebook Application".
