Can you hide the people you're following on Twitter so others can't see?

I've seen people ask if it is possible and answers of no it is not. In actuality, it IS possible. Here's what you do: you're going to have to create a "list" first. Then after you create a list, add whoever you want to hide on Twitter to that list and select for that list to become private. Then, delete the person you're following. This should work. I actually created a fake account to test this and it worked for me; created the fake, added my real account to a list, marked it as private, and deleted me off my fake account. Then I went in and updated my real account, signed out, signed back into the fake one, and it showed my newest tweet from the real account but not my picture under "following"; then I deleted the fake. Sorry if I confused anyone. But try this...it most definitely should work. It seems like a lot of work but it's not as bad as it sounds. Any questions, just click on my icon and drop me a line.
