Facebook : How can I have farmville NOT post any updates on my wall or status updates?
Seems a lot of people getting annoyed at farmville on Facebook always putting up status updates in the news feed. I always click 'skip' when it asks me if it wants me to post something. Is that all I need to do? Or does it still post updates in peoples news feed?

What I do is hit the skip button for every wall post it asks me to accept. Now if you get a ribbon and post it, your friends can get reward points for it. Also you have to post wall posts in order for friends to adopt animals. But you can just hit skip if you don't want these to show up.

1) Go to "Settings --> Application Settings", and find Farmville there.

2) Click on "Edit Settings" and a window will pop up.

3) Choose the "additional permissions" tab, and uncheck the box "Publish recent activity (one line stories) to my wall".

I do this for all applications I use. None of my friends business what dumb games I'm playing. LOL.

For notifications, click the notifications icon (bottom right of screen) and choose "see all". You will see a bunch of checkboxes on the right. Uncheck farmville and any others you don't want. Now you won't see your friends FV notices to you, and you shouldn't be sending any FV related ones out.
