How to know if a man is cheating or if i am just controlling/paranoid/jealous?

ive been seeing somebody since august, its long distance and we've been friends since 07. ive been cheated on twice previously so i am extremely cautious with this one. he flirts a lot on twitter with other girls although he tells me theyre jokes and to add the girls (they are private) if it worries me. he also hadn't changed his status from single until i told him. now it just doesnt say anything and mine says im married to my best friend. am i worried over nothing?

The internet is a strange place, but yeah it sounds like he might be flirting with girls, but who can tell if it might just be playful fun? I know it probably hurts your feelings, but I would change my status and go have fun too! If he does it, then why can't you! After you do it, see what he says about the situation, and if he complains then you two need to come to an agreement to stop the flirting!
