If you delete a private message sent to some one on twitter , can they still read it ?

Well my question is basically the title . Also , if you tweet some one and delete it , can they still see it ? Basically i sent something that i diddent want them to read anymore , so i deleted it . Can the person still see what i sent ?

yes if it was a messege they still have it but if its on their wall or something and you delete then they cant read it. sorry

Once you send it then you can't delete it.
