My friend is doing that adam lambert contest thing, but she doesn't know how to post her pic to HIS twitter?

My friend and I are doing that contest thing for Adam Lambert just for fun, but were new to Twitter and we don't know how we would tweet him out pictures like a lot of other people do. Would you clikc replay to one of his tweets or send him a direct message or post it on twitpic and some how send him the link. Is it truw that he would have to be following one of us? I don't know please help
there is no twitter section i looked
and please if your not going to give me anything useful then please don't answer
