how do you chat with people on twitter?

dont say you cant because I was on selena gomez`s page and there were lots of things posted which basicly was chatting

Hover your mouse icon over one of the "tweets" and the word "Reply" should appear at the bottom right hand corner of the tweet. Click that and just start typing. Make sure you have an account and are signed in.

use the @"inserttwitternamehere" to chat directly with someone - note that these are still public tweets. note that there is a direct message function if you want to send private messages
