How does Twitter work?

Heyy I just joined Twitter and I have like no clue what to do. Help please? Thanks a bunch

It's just an account to follow people (keep updated on what they're doing).
You can update your status from time to time. And it goes mobile too. You can search for your friends and follow them. There are also other things to do like send private messages and stuff. Kind of like the status thing on myspace.

Ha i had the same problem when i had mine. i deleted it. unless you can access it from your phone, it's pointless.

anyhoo.

all you do is write your status on your posting box. it's towards the top, under the twitter logo. then press post or enter... i forget what it was. then that's it! search for celebs to follow by searching 'twitter [insert celeb name here] and it'll pop up.

it's useless, really.
