How can I search for people on facebook with limited information?
I am trying to search for someone based on first name and status update alone. I know it's a long shot, but what is my best bet?

Are there are good applications for this because I can't see how to do it in facebook. You can search just based on status or just based on name, but I can't figure out how to do both in one search.

There are NO apps for that. You will need to know their email or something maybe their last name?

I do not know in facebook but this site has an option to search in social sites
click the link "Search Social Networks (Facebook and More!)"
to find what you ask for
