How to debrand a vodafone Samsung J700v?
I bought a Samsung J700v a while back and I want to reset it to the Samsung settings so I can use the internet on it while on o2. I'd like to avoid having to buy files if at all possible.

Hi Thomas C

I'm part of the Vodafone Web Relations team and would like to offer some help and advice.

You can get uyour Network Unlock Code for your Samsung J700v direct from Vodafone. The link below will give you the page to request your code direct with Vodafone. If the phone is on Pay As You Go and over 12 months old, the unlock code will be provided free of charge. If you had it through a contract, you'll get the code free too.

It can take upto 10 working days for the code to be sent to you, but if it's held on the Vodafone database, you'll get it a lot sooner! Once you've received the code, follow the instructions to enter the code into the phone, and you'll see a message along the lines of 'unlocked'. Once you've done this, you can use any network SIM in the phone. You may need to contact your new SIM provider for Internet and MMS (picture message) settings once you put the SIM in, as these will be different from the Vodafone settings.

If you have any other questions we have our own Twitter page where we also provide support, follow us and we're on call whenever you have a question!

Hope this helps
