Please help!! THIS IS driving me NUTS on facebook...?

Ok, I'm sorry for the caps, but I'm just very annoyed. I go on facebook to chat with friends, look at pics, ect. I don't go on to take stupid quizzes and play games..(well mostly ^^)

My question is, will blocking these apps stop them from appearing on the notice box on the bottom right when you first log in? Because almost everyday I get about 5 of those little red notices telling me so and so has taken a quiz, blah blah BLAH.

Thank you I just want the stupid spam to stoppp.

Don't think so. But it might. I don't know for sure. It is just part of facebook. But you might be able to go to the upper right hand corner to settings, put your cursor over it and click on account settings. and then go to notifications and uncheck the ones you don't want to get notices for.

i believe it would. if it doesn't work, just poke around the settings within notifications.
