How to Fix the “Unmountable Boot Volume” Error Message in Windows XP?! :S?
I only really use my laptop for general use such as Facebook, twitter, iplayer, research and Sims, but when I tried to use it yesterday a blue screen came up after the windows screen, I tried to restart but it just came back. Is there a quick, easy way to fix this? Thankyou Smile

first check the hard disk is properly plugged in/connected, if it is run the recovery console then in the console run chkdsk/R, then fixmbr them fixboot then restart after exiting the console, the console is available on the installation disk or as a download "rc.iso" to burn to a boot disk on the internet
